Position: Direct Support Professional (aka - DSP, Direct Care Worker, DCW, Direct Support Staff, CNA)

Salary: $16-$19 per hour - (salary range based on education/experience and assigned location).

Schedules Available

• Schedule 1 Mon-Fri 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Car Required

(Requirements: Driver's License/SS ID/Diploma/ Car Registration/Car Insurance/Emission Sticker In and out/ TB/PPD or Chest X-Ray/ Background Check or FBI if applying outside PA/ IAPR & CPS Certification)

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a qualified individual who enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of others. As a direct care worker, you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation, and documentation which include shift, incident (if applicable), and individual progress reports. On a daily basis, maintain a safe and therapeutic environment that meets the emotional, physical, and personal needs of each individual we serve.

• Provide services/support to individuals
• Assist individuals with developing socialization, meal preparation, and personal hygiene skills.
• Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities.
• Cultivate safe and supportive relationships via natural supports.
• Coach individuals with identifying and facilitating volunteer opportunities or paid employment.
• Complete necessary training based on the Individual’s needs.
• Accurately completes all in-house documentation and reports of individuals' progress
• Administer Medication

Experience:

• ClearCare/ Wellsky (Preferred)
• Developing Activity Calendars
• EVV Training (Preferred)
• Logging Same Day Progress Notes (Required)
• Medication Log
• ISP Implementation
• Detection, Reporting, Prevention of Abuse, Suspected Abuse, and Alleged Abuse
• Individual Rights
• Person-Centered Practices
• Reporting Incidents
• Seizure management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Human services: 1 year (Preferred)
• Behavioral Health: 1 year (Preferred)
• Defensive Driver Training Course (Preferred)
