TeamHealth is Hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Near Detroit, MI

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and providing comprehensive psychiatric services to patients.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Provide therapy and counseling to individuals and groups (as needed)
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options

Description:

Join a team that provides psychiatry services to geriatric and adult patients. We treat treatable issues such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. You will be a part of an integrated team with a primary care physician and nurse practitioner, and Psychologist or LPC. To give you maximum flexibility and lifestyle options we designed our system with a scheduled presence model with a round and go set up- facilities staff based on patient care needs, allowing providers to focus on patient relationships, outcomes, and facility needs. You will be on a team that takes a collaborative team-based approach to patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $125,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
