Mental Health Pr ofessional / Worker- Family Based

York / Adams Counties

Be the ONE who makes the difference in the lives of children, adolescents and their family . It's easy to be the positive change in someone's life.

The Challenge , in a nutshell :

The Treatment Team will serve a maximum of eight (8) families in York / Adams Counties and will provide intensive therapeutic services in settings other than the traditional office environment.

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Mental Health Professional / Worker-Family Based CHALLENGE :

  • Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's life
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applications (EMR)
  • Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance
  • Act 33 Clearance, Act 34 Clearance , FBI Clearance

Qualifications for The Family Based Mental Health Professional :

  • A graduate degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation or a graduate degree in the field of human services plus 2 years' experience in a CASSP system program, or;
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education, pre-med, theology, anthropology, or a degree in the field of human services plus certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker

Qualifications for the Family Based Mental Health Worker :

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology or anthropology plus 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program ; or
  • Have 12 college level semester hours in humanities or social services plus 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker.
  • Be a licensed RN plus have 1 year of experience in a CASSP system program and be enrolled for certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker.
