Team Worldwide ATL in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Domestic Operations Agent in the Freight Forwarding/3PL industry. The ideal candidate will be well versed in domestic air and ground freight operations, customer service and communications, and carrier capacity operations.

Requirements

As a Domestic Operations Agent, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Prioritize, schedule and route shipments for transportation via air and ground network.
• Interact with customers and agents to rate and quote shipments via air, FTL, LTL, hot shot and line-haul.
• Maintain and grow relationships on Team’s behalf with both existing and new customers and carriers.
• Proactively reach out to carriers to source, price, negotiate and track shipments daily.
• Source and secure capacity for time sensitive freight by leveraging multiple sourcing platforms.
• Work alongside team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Branch Office and agent communications.
• Local cartage and dispatch.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum experience preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Continual desire to learn and expand domestic knowledge
• High level of resourcefulness and initiative
