Program Director of Juvenile Recovery! We are seeking an energetic, caring, and well-organized Master’s level social worker, Master’s level professional counselor, or Psychologist to work as a Program Director of Juvenile Recovery for our outpatient Juvenile Restorative Program (JRP) located in Detroit, Michigan. This program is for youths who have committed minor or nonviolent offenses and will foster renewed confidence in achieving acceptable behavior that promotes inclusion and responsibility at home and in the community.

The basic functions will be to create a robust curriculum for the youth, while supervising and evaluating the clinical treatment approaches of the staff. Lead, coach, mentor and instruct clinical staff by providing orientation and ongoing training. Candidate must be well acquainted and culturally sensitive to the unique needs of incarcerated youth and their stakeholders. Must be able and ready to take on additional tasks and responsibilities. Be flexible with work hours, a self-starter, adapt quickly, organized and able to meet deadlines. The right candidate will begin this role in a full-time capacity. Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Related Field
• Demonstrated proficiency with juvenile justice systems
• At least five years of experience working with incarcerated youth (with 2 years being supervisory experience)
• Current CAADC or Development Plan preferred
• Must be fully Licensed
