Purpose: The position of Assistant HS & Youth Director of Yeti Lacrosse is to provide operational leadership to the club program. The Assistant Director works with senior leadership, to ensure the program runs optimally. The role calls for an Assistant Director who is visionary, entrepreneurially-minded, and driven. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Programs Oversight

• General Oversight: Oversee the travel program, and other programs within the organization to ensure everything is running smoothly. 
• Event Management: Ensure day-to-day operations of the program are running smoothly (staffing, communication with customers and employees, and any other tasks you may be given by the Senior Director ). Work and help manage the additional programs Yeti runs (camps, clinics etc.) to ensure the maximum participation.
• Program Optimization: Work with the Senior Director to ensure programs are running at optimal participation levels. 
• Customer Experience: Ensure customer service matters are handled with excellence at all times. 
• Quality Of Service: Work with the Senior Director to ensure on-field staff is well trained, professional in appearance, enjoying their work, and delivering an excellent experience to athletes and parents. 

1. Staff oversight: 

• Training New Hires: Oversee new staff hires and train them to ensure they know the ‘Yeti way’. 
• Manage Junior Director and Staff: Supervise Junior Director and staff to ensure they are following the Yeti Way- organized and prepared for practices, communicating with parents and players, punctual to practices and events, and understand our core values and mission. 

1. Operational Leadership Team Participation:

As a Yeti Director, it is your job to build relationships with local community programs, high schools, and parents. This includes running camps and clinics for youth and high school teams, always following up with other coaches and parents, and overall making sure you are building positive long-lasting relationships.

Measurables (How We Will Measure Success Together) 

1. Player Development/ Curriculum: If players are developing at the rate we planned through the curriculum. 
2. Positive Feedback: Each season we will send out a survey to our families. Success will be measured based on the positive feedback we receive. 

College Recruiting: You are always following up with players and their families who are interested in college ensuring you are helping them every step of the way. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or related field. 
• Minimum 2 years experience in sports/club management. 
• Successful passing of background check. 
• Completion of SafeSport Certification. 
• Avid problem solver that finds “firefighting” in business thrilling and 

energizing. 

• Highly adaptive personality that sees challenges and setbacks as opportunities, not roadblocks and walls. Willing to flex and move within our highly 

creative/entrepreneurial environment. 

• Customer-centric focus with a willingness to solve problems and innovate solutions that are mutually beneficial to customers and the company. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Healthy “generalist” understanding of technology (typical office hardware and

software).
