Job DescriptionWe're a mid-sized General Contractor seeking a junior level Commercial Construction Superintendent to assist our project team completing a multi-year higher education project in Raleigh, NC.
As a Junior Superintendent, you'll report to senior level field management and help to oversee the day-to-day construction activities on-site, from initial planning to final walkthrough. Your keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving skills will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.
Job Responsibilities Include:
This is a full-time position with an initial project schedule of at least two years, and the opportunity to complete future projects on an on-going basis. Qualified applicants should expect to receive annual compensation of $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience and qualifications.

- Daily Coordination with subcontractors, architects, and engineers
- Day-to-day tracking of upcoming project milestones and on-going construction activities
- Enforcing safety protocols
- Quality control activities to ensure that all work complies with the specifications and quality expectations
- Management of submittals, RFI's, and potential change orders
- At least two years experience in commercial construction
- Strong leadership and communications skills
- Experience utilizing construction management software and technology to track project deliverables
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to work independently without the need for daily oversight
