Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn, grow, and have unforgettable summer experiences. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games, lessons, and projects
- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Collaborate with other counselors to create a positive and inclusive camp community
- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime supervision, cleaning, and organizing camp supplies
- Communicate effectively with campers' parents or guardians regarding their children
- Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for campers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in sports coaching or other recreational activities is a plus

Qualifications

• Experience in camp counseling, coaching, or youth development
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children and parents/guardians
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Educational background in sports science, physical education, or a related field is a plus

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

• Knowledge of running techniques and training methods
• Experience in organizing and coordinating events or sports activities
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Passion for fitness and promoting a healthy lifestyle

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.5 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Experience:

• Camp: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• The Woodlands, Tx (Required)
