As an accredited public health department, we're seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join the Division of Medical/Clinical Services, Public Health Laboratory located in Decatur, GA. 

Primacy Duties Responsibilities:

• Under general supervise on, assists and plans, implements and monitors facility maintenance programs to include construction and repair.
• Conducts inspection of the facility for cleanliness and abnormalities to include the outside parking lot and green spaces.
• Conducts inspections to maintenance and renovations projects to meet procedures and standards.
• Conducts technical analyses and studies to determine infrastructures, facility, and physical plant needs.
• Coordinates, plans, and directs maintenance and service calls and repairs.
• Respond to maintenance request from internal customer for assistance of all kinds.
• Confirms that work assignments are performed in accordance with all applicable guidelines and established practices.
• Perform, plans, and directs maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Escort and monitor vendors/contractors to ensures that projects are completed within established guidelines.
• Performs maintenance, renovation, and repair activities to include plumbing, electrical and mechanical.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC, boiler operations and facility infrastructure function.
• Recognize, report, and resolves problems.
• Available to work shift, weekend, and holidays to support 24/7/365 operation.
• Request quotes for repair and maintenance projects.
• Interprets blueprints and drawings.
• Resolves problems.
