After School Substitute Teacher Key Roles:

• Implement program curriculum geared towards the needs of children
• Create a safe, caring, and engaging environment and be actively involved with children
• Serve as a role model to the children in the group through appearance and actions
• Assist students with homework
• Supervise students inside and on the playground
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Follow instructions provided by the site director

Requirements:

• Must have completed 60 college credit hours
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Child care related education background is preferred
• Technology literacy and ability to learn new programs
• Ability to motivate and engage children and manage behavioral challenges

Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday, must be available 2:00 PM-6:00/6:30 PM

Compensation based on education/certification: $45-$60 per day for 4 hour shift
