Essential Duties

  • Assist in preparing pre-job tasks and presenting segments of continuing planning meetings to ensure all special reports, studies and statistical analysis.
  • Accompany superintendents on project quality walks and attend various project team meetings.
  • Depending on company assignment, you will learn practical skills in project management, construction management, estimating, scheduling or construction engineering
  • Learn the basics of project costs, tracking materials, project coordination, safety and managing submittals
  • Have a hands-on, career enhancing experience on heavy/civil construction projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Currently college level: Junior or Senior student
  • At least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Eligible to work 40 hours (or more) per week
  • Excellent computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must be team oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
