TDB Communications is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner Near Columbia, MO

Job description

TDB (A small business that is owned and operated by a disabled veteran) is seeking Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants to work as an independent contractor providing exams to our active-duty members. Weekends (Sat/Sun) coverage that are scheduled one month out from the event date. Occasional week days are also available.

Reserve Health Readiness Program is the Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency, program that provides Individual Medical Readiness (IMR), Dental Readiness, and deployment services to Active Duty and Reserve service members geographically remote from military treatment facilities. RHRP provides remote individual medical readiness for DOD service members beyond those available through military treatment facilities.

Hours:

Weekends, Saturday/Sunday - 8am to 5pm clinic schedule. Based on your weekend availability monthly.

Job Duties:

  • Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
  • Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
  • Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
  • Perform review of health history, service member medical records, and medical questionaires.
  • Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member's medical record.

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted NP state licensure
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Provider
  • National Certification as NP
