Position Summary:
This role encompasses coordinating, assigning, and securing NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) services for all scheduled members efficiently and professionally, while prioritizing safety and privacy. It involves utilizing our proprietary system and network of qualified providers. This pivotal position requires proficiency in communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail to ensure a quality service experience. Additionally, dispatchers will assist TCS Drivers with same-day non-emergency trips to and from scheduled rides, demonstrating calmness, clarity, and control in hectic situations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and nurture positive relationships with a qualified provider network to align partner and member services.
· Utilize information resources, tools, and routing applications to efficiently assign all trips and standing orders, applying cost-effective measures and adhering to required timelines.
· Prioritize, coordinate, and assign scheduled trips within a geographical area based on provider criteria.
· Ensure trip coverage by exhausting all provided resources and handle service calls professionally and promptly.
· Adhere to company policies, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate service outcomes.
· Review and apply client and provider agreement guidelines when assigning trips and addressing rejected trips promptly.
· Inform members of unaccommodated services with advance notice.
· Confirm trip assignments daily and communicate with supervisors to resolve issues.
· Participate in departmental meetings to provide updates and discuss problem-resolution scenarios.
· Access required system applications, communication, and reporting tools accurately and timely.
· Complete all necessary company training, including HIPAA, Fraud Waste & Abuse, and Sensitivity training.
· Assist TCS Trip Assignment team as needed and maintain constant communication with all relevant parties.

· Empathy, compassion, and ability to remain calm in distressing situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
· College Diploma or/with two or more years of transportation industry experience preferred.
· Proficiency in MS Office, mapping tools, transportation software, and office equipment.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information securely.
