TC Restaurants operates venues in the Nashville area including Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge Food Drink, Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, Jason Aldean's Kitchen Rooftop Bar, Sun Diner, Luigi's City Pizza, Miranda Lambert's Casa Rosa, Tequila Cowboy and Wanna B's Karaoke Bar

POSITION SUMMARY: DJs are responsible for playing recorded music for an audience. DJ’s will be responsible for combining and playing songs through digital audio files. They use headphones to monitor the music so they know how it will sound to their audience. DJ’s will research and gather music and practice techniques with their equipment to beat-match or blend the elements of one song to another, so they create seamless, non-stop audio.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Reviews music weekly to ensure the correct format/songs to provide an appropriate flow of music during their shows or events

• Providing transitions between music and other content.

• Perform live at events, adjusting the music to suit the crowd.

• Staying up to date with music as required.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Create a seamless blend by beat matching, use of effects, etc to switch elements of the tracks creating a smooth blend.

• Mix tracks together to create an endless flow of music.

• Use of FX like echo, delay, or filters to enhance the music.

• Engage with the audience to entertain and create an energetic atmosphere.

• Operates various types of DJ equipment

WORKING KNOWLEDGE /EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work under pressure as well as manage logistics.

• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be able to interact with internal and external guests in a professional manner.

• Work varied shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance.

• Tasks are performed from a non-sitting and sitting position.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.

• Ability to be exposed to day life/nightlife environmental factors including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of one years’ experience in large-scale entertainment or live events setting.
