Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Shipping & Warehouse 2nd Shift Supervisor to support the Bradenton team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.

This position contributes to the success of Tropicana Brands Group by supervising the day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include managing off shift personnel in the department. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day customer order fulfillment as well as STO fulfillment to forward DCs by monitoring inventory levels in ATP
• Scheduled inbounds and the production schedule. 
• Monitor and alert day-to-day supply issues.
• Follow up with production and traffic department as needed. 
• Expedite and track inbound shipments to fulfill orders. 
• Support on-time delivery and identify and resolve transportation issues. 
• Manage the CSC teams to ensure they meet requirements for successful On Time Delivery & Product Availability
• Support Short Lead Requests and perform Precuts on known product issues.

Accountabilities:

• Expert in Excel, WMS and SAP
• Provide support on all product conversions (Innovation and Discontinuation)
• Provide secondary support to forward Distribution Center teams.
• Provide secondary support to the International Team for code date issues and research requests.
• Provide reports identifying priority unloading of rail cars.
• Ensure Trailer Payload on outbound customer shipments.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred (Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, etc)
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain function.
• Experience with SAP or WMS a plus.
• Strong communication skill
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. 
• A working knowledge of Finished Goods inventory transactions, understanding of transportation fundamentals,
• Ability to communicate and mediate between site and customer,
• Strong customer focus and results orientated. 
• Commitment to high service levels is a must. 
• Efficiently communicate with Chicago Customer Service representatives.
