Account Executive
Hybrid Schedule- Dallas, TX
Overview:
The AE Specialist provides technical expertise and administrative services to support the Broker Team, facilitating account placement and client service activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Information Management:
- Update client information in required systems.
- Communicate with agency personnel and underwriters for accurate account information.
Account Renewal and Market Submissions:
- Prepare accounts for renewal and solicit new or renewal business as directed.
- Prepare market submissions and quote cover letters for Agents.
- Review policies for accuracy.
Transaction and Document Processing:
- Handle account transactions, endorsements, change forms, and invoices.
- Resolve invoicing issues with Premium Accounting.
- Ensure claim notifications are sent to the claims department.
Administrative Support:
- Perform basic office duties: filing, copying, printing, and maintaining files.
- Prepare reports, submissions, and cover letters.
- Review policies for accuracy and handle other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3 years in commercial insurance brokerage or underwriting.
- Wholesale or retail agency/brokerage experience preferred.
Education:
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Ability to pass state exam and obtain insurance license if required.
Skills:
- Understanding of insurance products and services.
- Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
