Key Responsibilities:

Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Graphical User Interface - GUI (2^nd Shift, 4 pm to 12am) to support the Operations Manager to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.

This role will be responsible for the safe and efficient shift operation of frontline inbound and outbound associates. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a candidate based in Jersey City, NJ.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Responsible for load allocation for 33 dock doors utilizing the WMS (Red Prairie)
• Responsible for troubleshooting any order that fails allocation and for a smooth pallet flow throughout the entire conveying system and in the ASRS by utilizing the Wonderware and EMS programs.
• Manages replenishment maintenance through the Red Prairie Warehouse Management System (WMS); replacing damaged pallets on the loading dock
• Work closely with Rail operations to ensure the right product inventory is in the house for successful order allocation.
• Work closely with the Clerk and the Yard Jockey to ensure efficient loading by having trailers indoors and the correct inbound trucks for a successful order allocation as well as efficient trailer movement in the truck yard.
• Knowledge of PIT, WMS, Conveyor Equipment, and Inventory and Warehousing practices.
• Tackle ambiguous problems to determine and prioritize business strategies.
• Ability to structure and prioritize tasks, and focus efforts in an ambiguous work environment
• Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation

Requirements:

• 1-2 years in a distribution or production environment
• Experience with WMS
• Demonstrated success in an operations environment and good leadership skills
• Ability to develop and work daily with union employees to coach, facilitate, mentor, and build trust during change.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Experience with WMS and SAP.
• Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
• Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
• Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
• Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
