The Continuous Improvement Supervisor reports to the Site Continuous Improvement Manager and is a member of the Site’s Continuous Improvement team. The Continuous Improvement Supervisor (PM) coordinates the integration & implementation of focused improvement efforts for the site as well as provides ownership and support of sites data integrity, visibility, and automation. Responsible for all outcomes related to the techniques, processes, and systems in an area and supports the Area Owners and Maintenance. Owns Daily Management Systems (DMS) processes for Defect Handling (DH), Maintenance Planning and Scheduling (MP&S), and Break Down Elimination (BDE) within the scope of the Tropicana Brands Group Work Systems.

Individual Responsibilities (Processes/Tasks):

Operation Excellence

  • Define standard processes for managing Defects and Break Down Elimination and ensure that processes are executed properly
  • Create and execute on standard processes for Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
  • Prepare and organize OPL and SOP changes
  • Temporarily support Line Centric Team (LCT) Maintenance Owner role when needed
  • Own and deliver projects that directly drive Productivity and Process Improvement

Communications

  • Share best practices with other Maintenance Owners
  • Communicate across all levels of the organization as it relates to Tropicana Brands Group Work Systems

Continuous Improvement

  • Support large/small scale projects/modifications in area including machine parts design
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize PM’s, downtime planning, and rebuilds
  • Utilize centerlines and CILs to troubleshoot and ensure correct base condition
  • Train and coach operators on best practices for DH, MP&S, BDE
  • Perform health check audits to ensure plan and activities are on track
  • Participate in department reviews and activities to ensure that work is properly integrated, and that progress is on track
  • Coach teams through implementation of tools that build effective performance teams

Data

  • Coordinate with software SME’s to Support/lead data collection, visualization and automation initiatives
  • Provide support and training when deploying new tools and updates related to software or KPI tracking

Key Cooperation Requirements:

You to Others

  • Collaborate with the other members of the Line Centric Team (LCT) in the implementation and improvement of DMS elements
  • Share best practices with other LCT members
  • Support operators/mechanics/leads so they can expand and develop in the DMS’s
  • Work with pillar owners to drive maturity for DMS's

Others to You

  • Collaborate with Maintenance teams across the site to drive continuity and share best practices
  • Transparency & accountability from production operators/leads/maintenance teams
  • Support from other members of LCT
  • Support from Area Supervisor/Managers

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

  • Engineering or related technical or Business degree preferred

Experience:

  • 5 years manufacturing experience or related field in a consumer product manufacturing environment
  • TPM or Continuous Improvement manufacturing experience required
  • Data analysis and automation preferred
  • Must be comfortable navigating performance data with tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Zarpac, WinSPC, SQL etc.
