Job Summary: Responsible for meeting customer needs by meeting daily job or work schedule:
Safety Equipment: Safety glasses, safety shoes with metatarsal guards, ear plugs and gloves, etc.
Tools Used: Clipboards, flashlight, overhead hoist, tape measure, micrometer, hand tools, computer, and other tools as needed.
Environment: Potential exposure to both outdoor elements and heavy industrial atmosphere, which includes exposure to grease, oil, dust, heat, humidity, cramped quarters and moving objects
Job Requirements:
1. Must have product and welding process knowledge, Must be technically capable of processing data and variables of a mechanical nature, including complicated instructions, blue prints, measuring devices, paint processes, computer reports and data entry.
2. Must have visual ability to discern small lettering, weld defects, differentiate shadows, and possess high level of attention to small details.
3. Must be able to work in a variety of positions including kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting and turning. and occasional climbing.
4. Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
5. Must have good written and oral communication skills. Must be able to communicate with a wide variety of people with different backgrounds
6. Must be a team player working with co-workers, other departments and/or other TBEI facilities. The focus is on meeting company goals and initiatives.
7. Must work at a reasonable pace and within our quality standards and must work overtime as required to meet customer needs.
8. Must work in a safe manner following safety procedures, including: wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), completing maintenance requests and communicating hazards to co-workers and management.
