Internship Program Overview:

Taylor's Landscape Supply and Nursery is thrilled to announce its Internship Program tailored exclusively for high school students this summer. This program offers a unique opportunity for students to delve into the landscape and business industry under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Interns will gain hands-on experience in nursery operations, bulk material handling, driving operations, and office duties, providing a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with nursery operations including plant care, inventory management, and customer service.
• Participate in bulk material handling tasks such as loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring product quality.
• Shadow experienced drivers and learn safe and efficient driving practices for transporting materials.
• Support office staff with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and customer communication.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks and projects efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

• This program is open to high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates.

Qualifications:

• Enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow in the construction and landscaping industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing environments.
