Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Taylor's Bakery. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and helping to maintain the overall operations of the bakery.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a warm and welcoming manner, providing product recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are accommodated.
• Handle cash and card transactions with precision and integrity, following established procedures for cash handling and reconciliation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring all products are properly labeled.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders and maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times, following proper procedures for handling and storing bakery products.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving customer service, product offerings, and operational efficiency to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a food-related industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is a plus.
• Passion for baking and enthusiasm for sharing our bakery's products with customers.

Schedule (Tues - Sat):
This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support bakery operations.
