POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the foreman, heavy equipment operators will be responsible for operating several types of power construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, fueling equipment and notifying supervisor of equipment repairs
  • Preparing required documentation accurately and timely
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess a valid current Driver’s License
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working on Heavy Equipment, 5 years preferred
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Understand and use GPS equipment
  • Must be willing to work in an environment with exposure to various weather conditions
  • Must be quality and production oriented and willing to follow instruction, including manuals and pertinent literature
  • Must be willing to travel if required
