Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee quality control programs to ensure the production of high-quality food products,
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods.
- Stay informed about food safety regulations and standards.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to food safety and quality.
- Keep accurate records of quality assurance activities, test results, and corrective actions.
- Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with production teams to implement changes.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Actively participate in quality and food safety audits.
- Review, trend and provide feedback on customer complaints.
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food science, quality management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the food processing industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year
