Description :

Taylor Community is looking for you if you are motivated and quality conscious. Our carpenters work on all phases of remodeling and home improvement including kitchens, baths, flooring, windows, decks, additions and full-scale renovations on our 3 campuses between Wolfeboro and Laconia.

These are not typical construction work sites, you work in and around our resident's homes, respect comes first. This job is not just about swinging hammers, our team all interact with our residents, and we provide valuable training to work with the senior population.

There are times when all hands are on deck such as weather emergencies, our carpenters will plow, and shovel snow as needed.

Working as a framer involves successfully being able to :

• Read construction drawings and blueprints; Select, measure, cut, shape and join wood materials for building frames; Repair existing frames;
• Add finishes such as drywall, paneling and trim to framework; Use power and hand tools and carpentry equipment; Communicate with contractors and clients;

Build structures according to proper code and regulations.

Must be punctual and professional at all times as we are working in our resident's homes. Must have a great attitude and can work well on a team.

Total Package :

Competitive hourly rate in the lakes. We also offer health, dental and vision for under $100 a month & PTO for vacation days.

Shift differentials for working nights and weekends, and double time on holidays. 401k Match. We have tools, uniforms, cell phones, work vans, and no need to travel far away for work.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED

3 years experience
