Position Summary:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, conducting financial analysis, preparing financial statements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Complete bookkeeping for the entire accounting cycle
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis and reporting
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies and goals
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations
• Handle the accounting posting and journal entry processes
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum [3] years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in the retail industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team is a plus
