Plant Coordinators are responsible for shift supervision of a process Area and the operators. PC's monitor and execute the plans and strategy of the Area Manager.

Operations :

• First point of contact for operator direction and removing obstacles
• Facility supervision nights and weekends
• Execute plans for production
• Organize process and product flow to maximize On-Stream Time of systems : All systems have feed product ready and no system is holding up one from running
• Execute overtime plans
• Immediate troubleshooting resource
• Execute process trials
• Visit each control room of responsibility each shift

• Minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Outlook e-mail
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively written and verbal comprehension.
• 5 years industrial experience

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to safely perform the following tasks :

• Ability to lift equipment and tools up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance
• Use of hand tools above shoulders, under ergonomically stressful conditions, and under application of heavy force by employee
• Work in elevated positions with hand tools and fall restraint equipment
• Ability to wear personnel protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be able to pass pulmonary test that is required prior to wearing breathing air mask
• Ability to perform work in confined spaces while wearing breathing PPE
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders (fixed / portable) with tools when safe to do so.
• Ability to work from heights, and in cold and hot environments.
• Climb a vertical ladder up to 15ft
• Climb several flights of stairs, several times a shift
• Stand for prolonged periods of time
• Bending and twisting motion at the waist and knees
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule with flexibility to work alternate schedules as needed.
