```Job Overview```
The Office Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective communication strategies to promote and maintain a positive image for the organization. This role involves creating content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media, website content, and internal communications.
```Responsibilities```
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee administrative functions such as managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate records of employee attendance and leave
- Manage the budget for office supplies, equipment, and other expenses
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle all matters with professionalism
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- making office services arrangements, greeting visitors, and providing general administrative support to employees
- Point person for maintenance and building requests, safety program, mail service, shipping and receiving, and food/beverages.
- Assist with training development for new employees and ongoing professional development for existing staff
- Executive administrative support and scheduling for business leaders in the office.
- Schedule travel and prepare expense reports.
- Liaise and coordinate with Bookkeeper to ensure timely monthly reporting, filings etc.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
```Minimum Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
- Proven experience in a communications or public relations role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
- Proven experience in office management or a related field
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
