Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will oversee all financial aspects of the company and play a key role in driving the organization's financial strategy and planning.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain computerized accounting records of the day-to-day financial activities of the Agency via QuickBooks system.
• Works closely with the Executive Director to develop and monitor Agency budgets.
• Responsible for grants management to include monthly reconciliation, billing, and reporting.
• Responsible for client, funding source, and Medicaid billings.
• Responsible for Accounts Payable/Receivable, bank deposits, monthly bank and account reconciliations for financial compliance.
• Responsible for expense tracking and documentation.
• Responsible for the completion and submission of monthly, semi-annual, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure the financial separation of duties including but not limited to: cash receipts and distributions, reconciliations, etc.
• Lead the annual independent financial audit process.
• Ensure compliance with all funding source financial requirements.
• Create and present financial reports for the Board of Trustees as needed.
• Create various other financial reports and assist in the grant writing process when needed.
• Responsible for all accounting and finance related filing, compliance, and recordkeeping.
• Responsible for Agency payroll processing, employee background checks, scheduling new hire drug screens, benefits management including negotiations, and system management.
• Any other Accounting or Finance related duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Skills:

• Must possess demonstrated computer skills and knowledge in QuickBooks and MS Office software applications including Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.
• Must demonstrate the ability for effectively function as a team member.
• Must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Must possess exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant matters.
• Must be able to relate with empathy and sensitivity to staff, clients and the community.
