TARRANT REGIONAL WATER DISTRICT is Hiring a Contract Administrator Near Fort Worth, TX

Position Summary:

The Contract Administrator populates contractual details, including specifications, price, date of delivery and contractual provisions. Modifies, updates, and maintains contracts and associated documentation, processing, and communicating changes and prepares supporting documentation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to this position.

  • Populate project specific details into standardized contract documents
  • Distribute information to project managers and vendors regarding contract status
  • Validate completeness of vendor documentation
  • Maintain the District’s vendor insurance database
    • Ensure certificates are current
    • Update vendor data as needed
  • Assist with recording Diverse Business contract related actuals, reconciliations, and certifications
  • Maintain detailed and organized electronic files
  • Support Purchasing Department administrative functions
  • May perform contract related outreach duties for the District as needed
  • Maintain familiarity with strategic District levels of service
  • Continuous improvement monitoring and innovation efforts
  • Perform other duties as required

Required Experience:

  • Two (2) years of relevant experience, preferably in contract administration in a government setting
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be flexible, personal, positive, and cooperative
  • Experience with document management

Desired Experience:

  • None

Required Education/Certification/License:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or Associate Degree and Certified Paralegal (CP or ACP)
  • Valid Texas driver’s license
