Job Classification: Hourly/Salary, Full time

Supervisor: Purchasing Manager

Position Requirements:

• Must have exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work with management and all other departments.
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Ability to negotiate prices.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to understand and utilize basic mathematical skills.
• Must understand and utilize telephone and email etiquette.

Job Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Purchasing material and negotiating pricing.
• Building relationships with vendors.
• Creating purchase orders and update incoming material.
• Utilizing all department to know full inventory before any purchases are made.
• Actively seek material by utilizing outside sites.
• Reviewing status reports of all open orders.
• Knowing and reviewing cost to investigate any issues at hand.
