Description

TVT Community Day School seeks a knowledgeable and charismatic broadcast and film production educator to build and lead our middle school and high school film and broadcast program. We seek a candidate with experience in teaching broadcast and film production who can develop a curriculum and utilize our state-of-the-art equipment, software. The ideal candidate would have experience creating a morning news program and working with students to develop projects and curriculum to prepare students for STN competitions throughout the year. The candidate should also be able to guide students through all the stages of the film design and production process to help them create films which will be showcased in our annual Film Festival.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in production, media arts, communication, education, or a related field Advanced degree from an accredited institution preferred
• Expertise in all aspects of Video Production Media from concept to production to editing.
• Relevant teaching experience, 3 years preferred, in an independent day school is a plus
• Knowledge of relevant technology (editing software, video cameras, lighting equipment, sound equipment, etc.)

Compensation Range:

The full-time equivalent salary range for this position is $61,700 - $112,000. The starting salary is based upon, but not limited to, several factors that include type and years of experience, education level, and expertise.
