How You Care for Our Patients
As a Group Therapist:

• You will be an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• You will Provide and coordinate clinical programming to adult behavioral health/co-occurring addiction patients in an acute inpatient setting.
• Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Change Theory and Motivational Interviewing will be utilized throughout the group program curriculum.
• You will work with clinical staff including Group Program Coordinator to develop appropriate group topics and coordinate group schedules.
• You will lead groups on all units.
• You will be an active member of the treatment team and will participate in treatment team meetings and treatment planning.

You Bring Meaningful Experience
Successful candidates will have the following:

• Master's degree in a related field required; license is preferred (LMHC, LICSW, OT or comparable can be considered).
• Advanced level knowledge and experience in leading groups in a behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge and experience with group leadership, Trauma Informed Care, CBT, DBT, Change theory and Motivational Interviewing are required.
• Must demonstrate competency in the areas listed in this job description and possess the knowledge base, skill and ability to work in an acute inpatient setting.
• Sufficient typing and computer skills to facilitate use of Electronic Health Record required.
