Tantus Technologies is Hiring a Remote Program Analyst

Overview

Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Program Analyst to support our Federal client. As a member of our Lean Portfolio Management Office (LPMO), you will work closely with our internal team and federal counterparts to support Risk Management and IT Governance initiatives. You will support the planning, managing, evaluating, and reviewing of Risk and Governance operations and processes to ensure that they operate effectively and efficiently while conducting research and preparing reports. You will support the backlog refinement process, organizing, and facilitating project/program activities, and coordinating information gathering and sharing between internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Provide support to Federal clients, our internal team, and fellow contractors in the areas of IT Governance and Risk Management across a large portfolio of IT systems.
  • Participate in Agile/Scaled Agile ceremonies, as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively to foster and build team relationships among our client, Program Task Leaders/Project Group Leaders, third party entities/contractors and project team members.
  • Effectively present to clients and stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Provide support for meetings; including but not limited to the writing of meeting notes.
  • Assist with the management of various communications channels.
  • Provide drafts and updates of key governance artifacts to ensure governance practices are documented.
  • Assist in continuous improvements to the IT governance processes.
  • Support or participate in any required IT governance efforts, committees, or board to ensure client compliance.
  • Provide support to client risk management lead and the various risk managers across the portfolio of programs/projects.
  • Actively identify, manage, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Assist with the maintenance of policy/process and documentation on our Atlassian portal (Confluence).
  • Support gap analysis between current state risk management and best practice.
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of information radiators such as strategic and product dashboards, roadmaps, and reports.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years’ experience in program or project management
  • Experience using-project management toolsets such as Jira and Confluence, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

Abilities

  • Ability to combine project management principles with IT Governance and IT Project/Program Risk Management
  • Demonstrated ability managing complex, multi-task projects and multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to manage project risks and issues

Nice to Haves

  • Understanding of IT Project/Program Risk Management and IT Governance processes
  • Agile certification is a plus
  • Experience with CMS TLC (Target Life Cycle) processes is a plus
