A non certified scrub tech MA is responsible for the preparation of, as well as providing, technical assistance to physicians during the performance of procedures. Responsible for the care, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment, instruments, supplies, and sterilization of the room and devices. Included is the care and triage of patients under the providers direction. Will stock rooms, complete inventory, manage medications and assist providers in the practice location as well per medical assistant duties.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications
Experience in specialty is preferred. Experience as a medical assistant required. Experience working in a surgery center or in the OR is preferred.
