Responsible for helping ensure patients are receiving necessary preventative care services. The key functions of this position are to utilize the EMR and payer portals to identify Care Gaps, schedule patients for services, and to submit the necessary documentation to close those gaps.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: One year of related experience. Requires working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

• One year of previous clerical experience is required

• Must possess strong organization and time management skills. Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently.

• Must Possess strong customer service skills.

• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of electronic medical record preferred.

• Proficient use of computer equipment and software such as Word and Excel.

• Pleasant professional demeanor when dealing with the public.

• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
