Must Have : DO 178 Certification, must have generated Software planning documentation, must have been a part of SOI audits.

Generally look for Soft Verification/Validation/Integration folks who participate in these SOI audits once they become lead or managers

passionate and energetic multi-disciplinary Mid-Level Avionics Engineers to join the team in defining and building the future of flight at Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. The Boeing team is looking to fill multiple openings at the mid-career level.

Position Responsibilities:

• Software development experience
• Software verification experience
• Knowledge of DO178B
• Hands on experience in handling certification
• Knowledge of SOI audits, review, checklists etc
• Review of artefacts involved in certification using checklist

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in electrical, aerospace and computer engineering is preferred.
• 10 years experience in Avionics
• Knowledge of FAA/EASA Certification
• Knowledge on Cabin and interior systems
