This position will work cross-functionally across relevant departments to concept, develop, and secure all retailer sales opportunity and has geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.

How you will contribute to what we do:

• Achieves established annual personal sales goal as assigned by the Director, Retailer Marketing Partnerships.
• Target, pitch, and develop relationships with assigned retailers – educating them on the value of Tanger as an advertising and marketing medium.
• Concept and deliver on retailer sales strategy and coordination of efforts across on-mall and digital asset offerings.
• Create compelling retailer solutions to advertising objectives, articulate the benefits of Tanger, and close large single or multi property advertising, sponsorship, or promotional programs on a regular basis.
• Work with constituents to identify, create and sell retailers revenue opportunities through strategic positioning of center assets, media assets, and special events and programs in order to achieve the financial sales goals of the property and region.
• Regularly canvass shopping centers and digital offerings from other developers for competitive analysis and evaluate opportunity gaps
• Delivers monthly reforecasts on personal sales goals and communicates variance challenges and opportunities.
• Routinely monitor progress against budget on a center by center and regional basis, work with local teams to meet goals and update forecasts accordingly. Be able to clearly articulate and communicate progress against goals and variances.
• Ensure compelling photos of all sellable assets are routinely captured; lead Center team on Proof of Performance photo responsibilities.
• Develop paid media/advertising decks and compelling campaign recaps for retailers.
• Collaborate with accounting on accuracy of all retailer media billing and accounts receivable entries.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media buying agencies that represent retailers and become fully integrated in their RFP processes.
• Develop additional offerings for retailers that drive additional revenue.

About You:

• You have an undergraduate degree with an emphasis in sales, marketing or business and five years’ experience in a retailer marketing or retail media network environment. Shopping center background is preferred.
• You communicate and work effectively with retailer partner corporate contacts and peers.
• You possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• You are proficient in Excel and have strong analytic skills.
• You demonstrate a solid attention to detail with strong organization and project management skills.
• You have a proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
• You are self-motivated, self-directed, and exercise independent judgment.
• You have proven ability to procure, maintain, and grow relationships.

Hiring Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Tanger's total compensation package for employees.

Hiring Range:$54,000 - 90,000 per year
