Job Details
A recognized services company in Virginia is currently seeking a new Network Analyst for a great Senior-level opportunity with their team.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Network Analyst will:
- Perform maintenance and changes on network routers, switches, and wireless equipment, as required
- Perform Implementation/Configuration of new network routers, switches, and wireless devices, as required
- Assist with troubleshooting internetwork connectivity and wireless issues.
- Utilize change management and ticketing systems, documents status updates and problem resolutions.
- Complete all assignments and project work in a timely manner with an acceptable level of quality
- Follow documented processes, procedures, and policies
- Perform customer service duties and responds to customer and project requests as defined by management
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience administering Routers and Switches
- Bachelor's Degree
- SolarWinds management experience
- Experience with Cisco router and switches.
- Networking TCP/IP routing experience
- Experience with network break/fix of layer 2 and 3 environments
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
- Network related industry certifications
- Cisco Wireless experience
- Cisco Nexus platform experience
- Cisco SDWAN
- SPLUNK experience
- Experience working in an environment subject to regulatory compliance
- Experience with supporting an enterprise network at a Utility company
- Strong understanding of packet capture analysis
