A recognized services company in Virginia is currently seeking a new Oracle Database Developer to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
The Oracle Database Developer will:
- Perform software development, testing, and provide support in all phases of the software lifecycle
- Research, design, develop, test, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or application software
- Analyze user business software system requirements and determines needs
- Support existing Java/Eclipse/WebSphere application
- Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time
- Maintain documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures
- Assist team with preparation of cost estimates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience
- Oracle Database development experience (PL/SQL scripting, SLQ optimization)
- Experience with C/C Development
- UNIX/Linux experience (Shell scripting)
- Perl scripting
- Windows experience
- In depth knowledge of software engineering techniques and concepts
- Knowledge of computer data-structures and algorithms
- Software Quality Assurance experience
