Responsibilities
The Mental Health Therapy Aide will:

• Provide direct care services, treatment, rehabilitation, and support to individuals diagnosed with mental illness that receive services in an institutional or community-based setting
• Help individuals to participate in games and recreational programs
• Coach and encourage individuals to develop daily living skills
• Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Work with other staff to develop, carry out, and record care plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior experience working in the medical or social service field providing care to patients
• Ability to multitask
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
