Responsibilities
The Financial Aid Representative:
- Provides exceptional customer service for students and staff
- Keeps 72-hour contact with all unpackaged students
- Responds to all communication (Voicemail, Email, IM) within 24 business hours
- Shows promptly for scheduled meetings and calls
- Remains available and prepared to field incoming communication
- Communicates to students in a professional manner
- Understands what programs are available and the requirements for each
- Explores and explains all relative options
- Pursues understanding over delivery of information Is a steward of the Student Finance Department
- Analyzes and calculates awards accurately
- Completes other duties as required or assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask
- Prior financial aid experience
