A healthcare services agency in Westchester County is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Director of Billing. In this role, the Director of Billing will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Billing Department and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of claims and invoices.
Responsibilities:
The Director of Billing will be responsible for:

• Leading the overall billing functions for the agency
• Establishing, testing, and implementing standard and customized invoice and claim formats based on contract guidelines
• Monitoring, evaluates and reviews billing procedures as related to regulatory compliance and external audits
• Weekly review of organization’s sales and average weighted reimbursement rates to monitor gross margin percentages and check for any abnormalities
• Oversees the preparation of weekly invoices for clinical services rendered and processes electronic transmission of these invoices
• Communicating with Office Administrators and staff regarding billing issues; tracking billing adjustments
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 10 years of Accounting and/or Bill experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Business
• Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
