Tandym Group is Hiring an Administrative Director, Care Management Near White Plains, NY
A Westchester County-based health services system has a great Administrative Director, Care Management opportunity awaiting a licensed Registered Nurse (RN). In this role, the Administrative Director, Care Management will be responsible for serving as the central resource Executive Team concerning strategies which are efficient, effective, timely, patient-centered, and support appropriate financial reimbursement. Responsibilities: The Administrative Director, Care Management will:
Assume 24-hour accountability for the planning and direct of departments that provide the following: Access, Utilization Review, Denials & Appeals, Care Coordination, Discharge Planning, Clinical Social Work, Recovery & Disease Management & Contracting
Plan, organize, direct, and supervise designated Nursing Department within the division
Oversee the overall operations of the division, including development of division goals & objectives that are consistent with the mission
Assist the Case Managers and Social Work Manager in budget development & control, standard setting, policy development, goal settings, and evaluation of patient care
Provide strategy, formulation, coordination of resources, and established implementation and evaluation of financial business goals for assignment product lines
Participate in the Performance Improvement program
Guide the Case Managers and Social Work Manager as they develop organizational plans for the their individual units and services
Perform all other related duties, as needed
Qualifications:
1 year of experience in an Acute Hospital setting; 1 year experience in non-Hospital based Healthcare (home care, insurance, outpatient, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
Previous experience with DRGs and Medicare Regulations
Computer savvy
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Desired Skills:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Certification as a Case Management Administrator (CMAC)
