Tandym Group is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst Near Rockford, IL
Responsibilities:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will:
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Respond to customer inquiries; provide explanation of account activity (i.e. application of payments, credits, invoice copies and account status)
- Process incoming checks for deposit to bank
- Post payments to customer accounts
- Record appropriate general ledger entries daily for deposits/payments
- Apply journal entries to customer accounts for any needed adjustments (i.e. SVC, miscellaneous billings, incentive credits, etc.)
- Research and resolve account discrepancies in a timely manner (i.e. short payments, over payments)
- Review unapplied payments report at a minimum at least monthly to review and resolve outstanding unapplied payments
- Communicate with customers and other team members regarding account questions and resolutions
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience with basic Accounting functions
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Customer service oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
