We are offering a unique opportunity for you to be able to serve this population both in residential and learning environments. We are presently hiring a Full Time Program Director who will work at Tancell Care and as QIDP. This position will provide leadership in the development, implementation, management, supervision, and evaluation of all activities of the 24/7 Intensive Supportive Living Arrangement (ISLA) Program for Tancell Care and will provide required plan development, coordination of services, and oversight duties.

What are some of the essential job functions?

  • Oversee IHSLA staff operations; directing staff in effective and efficient use of programs to promote quality processes.
  • Recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of program staff; ensure adequate and qualified staff to carry out program activities.
  • Maintain a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the IHSLA Program and to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations for developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating plans and programs designed to ensure that participant needs are met.
  • Spend time with individuals and their families to learn who they are, provide support and guidance, review goals and progress and to elicit and include their input on goals into treatment/support plans.
  • Attend treatment team planning meetings. Interfaces with the treatment team to establish support and treatment goals and coordinates treatment/support necessary to support each individual's plan.
  • Supervise and coordinate the implementation of support to all individuals, including developing or supervising the development of objectives and plans recommended in the Person-Centered Plan (PCP). Ensure service design and delivery of the various supports maximize positive outcomes for each individual.
  • Observe and assess individuals’ responses to services and supports to include satisfaction with services and quality of life; review of data and progress; alert team members to an individual's changing needs; and revise supports following those changes upon approval of the PCP Team.
  • Ensure staff receives required training related to the person-centered planning process, rights, and due process; positive behavioral interventions; the process for the development of outcome-based support plans; implementation of plans and required documentation/data collection.
