Tampa Language Center is opening a new location in Sarasota! And we are looking for creative, enthusiastic, part-time ESL instructors for adult students in our intensive English program. Available schedule includes:
1) MORNING Intensive English Program
Mon-Thurs 9AM-2PM (20 hours a week)
2) NIGHT Intensive English Program
Mon-Thurs 4PM-9PM (20 hours a week)
3) Saturdays 9AM-12PM
You may teach in 1, 2, or all 3 of these programs, so hours may be flexible.
Responsibilities include accurate record keeping, delivering dynamic lessons based on the communicative language teaching approach, and administering assessments.
Applicants MUST have at least a bachelor's degree and possess a TEFL certificate or must have majored in a field related to ESL. We prefer that you have at least one year of experience teaching ESOL/EFL to adults.
TLC is one of the best possible environments for teaching for ESL. We have great students and we are second to none in some of the activities we do with students. (Check out our Facebook or Instagram to get a feel.)
There will be possibilities to do more private classes in person or online, as well as teaching in our night or Saturday program, and there may be opportunities for advancement.
