Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care Center is looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team!!
Job Summary:

The Veterinary Receptionist is the first person that a client will meet upon contacting our facility. We are looking for an experienced CSR to join our team of receptionists. The ideal candidate would be a positive person who can handle any situation with a smile and professionalism. Must have prior experience working in a veterinary or medical office that includes answering multi-phone lines, customer service, good interpersonal skills, and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with client services and some administrative tasks
  • Answer phones and greet clients and patients
  • Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and print receipts
  • Supervise/balance the cash box
  • Facilitate client medication refill requests
  • Obtaining records from and emailing them to referring veterinarians
  • Client reminder calls
  • Documenting calls

Qualifications and Skills

  • Prior experience with veterinary/animal or medical practice
  • High School diploma minimum
  • Computer skills: Word/Excel
  • Strong customer service skills

Schedule

  • We are a specialty and emergency facility that is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
  • Various shifts available including early mornings & late evenings but rotating weekends and holidays are required.
