About the Job

The House Supervisor is an RN possessing excellent nursing process skills to provide and/or supervise care delivery in a variety of clinical units as oriented and competent. May assume a Med/Surg team including MBU patients, provide newborn care as the baby RN in OB or be assigned to outpatients including ED and post-surgical care in PACU or OCU. Responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of activities and staff assignments. Serves as a leader and role model including the encouragement of initiative, critical thinking and cooperation. Develops trust and team building within and between hospital staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or state approved school nursing.
  • Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certification
  • Three (3) to five (5) years previous hospital nursing experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred Previous supervisor experience preferred

Shift Time: Variety
