Indirect Tax Analyst

Participate in audit field work and respond to information requests from auditors as assigned.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of law and developments that affect assigned business area(s).
Analyze and audit tax account activity and communicate any issues with appropriate team members.
Prepare/reconcile indirect tax returns & related payments in accordance with a tax calendar.
Work with a variety of data sources. Identifies incomplete or inaccurate data, identifies root cause analysis and proposes solutions to correct issues or escalates issues to leadership.
Support Front-of-House, SAP and Vertex interfaces to ensure sales and use tax is being properly reported in SAP.
Act as a business partner with various teams within Disney, including technology teams, controllership and finance.
Special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
To qualify for this role candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, information systems, business analytics, or a field similar to those listed.
0-2 years of relevant work experience.
Superior Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data tools that enable transformation and analysis of large data volumes also a plus.
SAP and Vertex Sales Tax Return Software/Vertex L and O Series Tax Maintenance is a plus.
