Tallavera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)s in and around Syracuse, NY for a busy substance abuse facility. To be considered for these positions, candidates must be licensed in NYS. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide medical and counseling services while promoting recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders.
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Monitor and document patient’s medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal
- Must be able to assess client status and use problem solving skills
- Communicate with medical team any clinical concerns with client as needed
Requirements of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Substance abuse or mental health experience is preferred
- NYS Nursing License
- Evening shift availability
